|Direct Power Harness kit
|T.M.WORKS Direct Power Harness Kit is a set of wiring harness that is connected
directly from the battery's positive (+ve) and negative (-ve) terminals
to the ignition coils (only for individual direct ignition system).
It will minimize the drop of the ignition coil's input voltage and constantly supply a stable battery voltage to the ignition coils.
In normal harnesses from the ECU to the ignition coils, the estimated input
voltage drop will be around 0.6V to 0.8V.
Due to the aging of the wiring harness from the manufacturer, resistance
increases and this will also a factor resulting the drop of input voltage
as well. If the input voltage is not being supplied sufficiently to the
ignition coils, misfire may occur casuing damage to the ignition coils
and also possibility to the engine in long term.
By installing T.M.WORKS Direct Power Harness Kit, we will try to limit the drop of input voltage within 0.2V and try to maintain the performance of the vehicle as optimum as possible.
In general, an ignition coil will have an input voltage of 13.8V in the primary coil and output voltage of 23000V in the secondary coil.
If the voltage drop 0.8V, the input voltage for the primary coil will be 13V and this will also make the output voltage in the secondary coil drop to around 21700V.
With T.M.WORKS Direct Power Harness Kit, limiting the voltage drop within 0.2V,the primary coil voltage will maintain at 13.6V
This will also reduce the voltage drop for the secondary coil to just 22700V.
In other words, the ignition performance is enhanced and performance of the vehicle will be maintained as optimum as possible.

Plug n Play easy installation directly from battery's positive (+ve) and negative (-ve) terminals or power supply (+ve) from the fuse box to
each ignition coil with specific matching connectors.
Depending on vehicle models, price starts from ￥8,000 (excl. tax)
Due to the increasing of Battery Charging Regulator module installed by the manufacturer at the positive (+ve) terminal,
connection of power supply to a 15A fuse from the fuse box at the engine compartment is used starting from June 2015.
Conversion harness can be used from T.M.WORKS Direct Power Harness Kit to upgrade to use Ignite VSD alpha 16V and Ignite VSD alpha CI in the future.
