Direct Ignition System tends to have a disadvantage of having weak ignition spark due to mechanical limitation of the compact design and with this design it resulted to inefficient primary circuit.
By installing Ignite Inside REV, it can magnify the ignition spark up more than 10 times.
Since 2009, we have successfully integrated the T.M.WORKS Inside Ignite REV into the conventional T.M.WORKS Shield Plug Cord (Super SPEC).
We have productions for various selected vehicles. for T.M.WORKS Inside Ignite REV, we have obtained the patent from Japan, USA, China, and Taiwan.

By looking at a single ignition duration, high combustion efficiency is definitely achievable.
For normal ignition coil a 25,000V is required for the ignition spark.






With Inside Ignite REV, the spark duration is 1.8 times longer compares to a normal ignition coil and the required 25,000V is also more stabilize.
By increasing the spark duration up to 1.8 times longer, the combustion efficiency can be enhanced tremendously and harmful exhaust gas such as carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbon (HC) can be reduced as well. Engine performance will also be much more responsive.

The above waveform comparison is from the oscilloscope at the maximum voltage required by the ignition coil within a spark duration of about 2.3ms during engine idling.

4 types of variations according to the configuration of the ignition coil of the specific vehicle :
  @ Type that replace only the ignition coil boot for manufacturers such as Nissan, Mazda etc.
  A Type that the Inside Ignite REV that is integrated with the ignition coil for selected vehicles from Audi,BMW and Other
    (Inside Ignite REV part number ends with C).
  C Type that needs the ignition coil to be relocated for most of the vehicles from Toyota
    (Inside Ignite REV part number ends with X). 
  B Type that replace the spark plug cord.

Inside Ignite REV is used in various motor sports. 

12 hours Merdeka Millenium Endurance Race 2005 in Sepang International Circuit,
Malaysia. 18th REV SPEED Tsukuba Super Battle and Time Attack UK in 2007.


As an option to the Inside Ignite REV, by installing Ignite VSD alpha 16V, the enhancement will be wider within the RPM range directly from low to high RPM range. This configuration is suitable not only for normal street specification vehicles but also race specification vehicles.

Inside Ignite REV can be installed to not only stock ignition coil but also T.M.WORKS Hyper Direct Coil, Spitfire Direct Coil or Plasma Direct Coil.
